About the Artist
Skye Rayburn founded Isle of Skye Studio as a way to create something tactile after years behind a computer in the apparel industry. She graduated from UNT in 2005 with a BFA in Fashion Design. While there, she took several courses in Fiber Arts and developed a love for hand dyeing and surface design. Isle of Skye Studio is a continuation of that knowledge and further experimentation in all things textile art.
