The American Alligator Weekender is built from hides sourced through American Tanning & Leather in Griffin, Georgia, one of the most respected alligator tanneries in the country. American alligator earns its price for good reason: no two hides are alike, and each is graded and valued by the width of its finest, most evenly scaled expanse, the section most prized by artisans for its uniformity and beauty. A single hide only yields so much of this premium expanse, so this bag is cut from two hand-selected, hand-matched hides rather than one, chosen and matched for grain and color before a single piece is cut. That scarcity, paired with a specialized, labor-intensive tanning process, is what makes American alligator one of the most sought-after and expensive leathers in the world.

Inside, a French Goat Sully leather lining from the renowned Alran Tannery meets the same standard the exterior sets. Every panel is hand-cut and hand-fit, and the bag is entirely hand-built, start to finish, in our Denton, Texas shop, the kind of attention to detail that doesn't get rushed. The result is a bag meant to be noticed: a true show-stopper, wherever you're headed.

🐊 Hunted Hide

We do accept hunted American alligator hides for this bag. Your hide has to be professionally tanned first and inspected by us in person before we can confirm it will work for this build, and there's a small price difference when you supply your own hide. Shipping & Returns

Made-To-Order: Most of what we sell is made to order by hand, so each item shows its own lead time near the price. We do not start the clock until your order comes in, and we will not rush a piece just to ship it faster.

Orders over $300 ship free. Below that, a flat $10 shipping rate is shown at checkout, so there are no surprises. Desk mats and other oversized pieces always ship at a calculated rate, because their size and weight make free shipping unworkable on our end. Need something by a date? Tell us before you order and we will be straight about whether we can hit it.

Returns: in stock goods can be returned or exchanged within 30 days. Made to order, custom, and personalized pieces, including monogrammed items, are final sale and cannot be refunded, since they are built for you and cannot go back on the shelf.
