Full-grain leather, hand tooled and filigreed in Denton, Texas, with corner caps and a strap closure designed in the shop.

This cover starts as a flat piece of leather and ends as something you will carry for decades. The floral corner caps are hand tooled and filigreed here in the shop. Filigree is the process of cutting away the background of a western floral design so the base leather shows through — every negative space removed by hand, one cut at a time. There is no faster way to do it, and there is no machine that does it well. It is among the most time-consuming and technically demanding work we produce, and the result is unlike anything a factory can replicate.
The strap closure and card pocket are built into the cover. It ships with a 240 page 5x8 hardcover notebook included. Personalize it with monogrammed initials or a corporate logo stamp on the inside panel, and it becomes something that cannot be bought off a shelf anywhere.

Shipping & Returns
Made-To-Order: Most of what we sell is made to order by hand, so each item shows its own lead time near the price. We do not start the clock until your order comes in, and we will not rush a piece just to ship it faster.
Orders over $300 ship free. Below that, a flat $10 shipping rate is shown at checkout, so there are no surprises. Desk mats and other oversized pieces always ship at a calculated rate, because their size and weight make free shipping unworkable on our end. Need something by a date? Tell us before you order and we will be straight about whether we can hit it.
Returns: in stock goods can be returned or exchanged within 30 days. Made to order, custom, and personalized pieces, including monogrammed items, are final sale and cannot be refunded, since they are built for you and cannot go back on the shelf.
