The Western Desk Mat starts as a single panel of vegetable-tanned leather. The floral pattern is drawn in our Denton shop and carved by hand, then the mat is dyed and backed with a sewn leather lining. It is rigid and lies flat, built to stay on a desk for decades rather than roll up in a drawer.
It comes in four sizes: 20 x 15, 24 x 18, 30 x 22, and a 36 x 17 long mat that holds a keyboard and mouse side by side. Initials or your ranch brand can be tooled in at no charge. The leather darkens with use and light, and the tooling softens a little at the edges over the years.

Hermann Oak has become our primary leather source at Wilkinson's Fine Goods for belts, bags, and small leather goods. We hand-select hides from their tannery for the pieces you see this note on, carrying forward the same standard of quality Hermann Oak has held since 1881.
Shipping & Returns
Made-To-Order: Most of what we sell is made to order by hand, so each item shows its own lead time near the price. We do not start the clock until your order comes in, and we will not rush a piece just to ship it faster.
Orders over $300 ship free. Below that, a flat $10 shipping rate is shown at checkout, so there are no surprises. Desk mats and other oversized pieces always ship at a calculated rate, because their size and weight make free shipping unworkable on our end. Need something by a date? Tell us before you order and we will be straight about whether we can hit it.
Returns: in stock goods can be returned or exchanged within 30 days. Made to order, custom, and personalized pieces, including monogrammed items, are final sale and cannot be refunded, since they are built for you and cannot go back on the shelf.
