All of our western boxes are made one at a time in our shop by Clint Wilkinson & Jim Burton. Craftsmanship of this nature takes a tremendous amount of time, so please be patient.
Note: "Wilkinson" does not come on the leather. It's just an example of how to personalize the leather.

Uses | Design the box that best suits your needs. It could be used for jewelry, watches, cigars, keys, important letters, family keepsakes, and more.
Wood | "The boxes are constructed of select and straight-grained cherry or walnut wood. Their shaker inspired design features hand hand-cut dovetail joinery. We use hinges of the finest solid cast and hand patinated brass, while the box bottoms are fastened with traditional cut brads for security and a classic look. They are finished with a natural tung oil and beeswax finish that is non-toxic and food safe, and the surfaces can be re-oiled and re-waxed every few years to add further protection and luster. The wood used for the box liners is unfinished Spanish cedar, which has a pleasant aromatic scent, and natural humidity control properties to protect your valuables." - Jim Burton | Wood Artist
Leather | "The leather is 8oz Hermann Oak that is transformed into a beautifully hand tooled piece of art. The classic western design uses traditional flowers and leaves that you would see on fine saddlery. The process of hand tooling is a very tedious action that involves carving the floral design into the leather, shading the accents with various tools, and using decorative cuts to complete the piece. When the tooling is finished a coat of oil, dyes, and conditioner is applied to the leather to bring the artwork to life." - Clint Wilkinson | Leather Artist
Hardware | We use 1/2" brass escutcheon pins to fasten each piece of leather to the box lid. The conchos we've hand selected are engraved sterling silver from Oklahoma.
