Hand engraved from solid sterling silver, this kazoo is a functional object reimagined through traditional silversmithing. Laddan Ledbetter applies classic hand-engraving techniques—normally reserved for heirloom silver—to an unexpected form, resulting in a piece that balances craftsmanship with character.
This instrument set is crafted entirely from solid sterling silver and completely handmade. The harp is forged over an anvil with a hammer, while the kazoo body is formed using press dies. Each piece is engraved by hand and finished individually, making every example a true one-of-one collectible.
While fully playable, this kazoo is equally compelling as a sculptural object. Any musician or avid music lover will appreciate the unique and thoughtful twist on a familiar instrument—one that naturally becomes the centerpiece of a collection.

Made-To-Order: Most of what we sell is made to order by hand, so each item shows its own lead time near the price. We do not start the clock until your order comes in, and we will not rush a piece just to ship it faster.
Orders over $300 ship free. Below that, a flat $10 shipping rate is shown at checkout, so there are no surprises. Desk mats and other oversized pieces always ship at a calculated rate, because their size and weight make free shipping unworkable on our end. Need something by a date? Tell us before you order and we will be straight about whether we can hit it.
Returns: in stock goods can be returned or exchanged within 30 days. Made to order, custom, and personalized pieces, including monogrammed items, are final sale and cannot be refunded, since they are built for you and cannot go back on the shelf.
