Ladden Ledbetter — Texas Silversmith

Raised in West Texas, Ladden Ledbetter comes from a background rooted in metal, work, and the culture that surrounds it. After time spent around welding shops, rodeo, and working with his hands, he found his way into silversmithing and hand engraving through traditional training and mentorship. The techniques he uses are time-honored. The objects he chooses are anything but expected.

Ladden applies classic hand-engraving methods to unconventional forms—sterling silver kazoos, yo-yos, spinning tops, and a flask designed to be worn around the neck. Each piece is made entirely from solid sterling silver and engraved by hand with the same discipline and precision found in traditional Western silverwork.

What sets his work apart is the balance: deeply skilled craftsmanship paired with wit and curiosity. These pieces are playful without being novelty, refined without being precious.
